M. CHAPOUTIER - Cotes du Rhone, Belleruche Blanc 2007 75cl Bottle
The vineyard is on mainly chalky-clay soils. The grapes are hand harvested. As soon as they arrive in the cellars, the grapes are pressed.The must is cold racked for 24 hours. Running water regulates the fermentation temperatures. The wine is aged in vats, without malo-lactic fermentation. It is bottled at the end of the winter, depending on the harvest. Colour : Pale yellow and clear. Nose : Sour apple, hawthorn and white flowers. Bouquet : Fresh and well-balanced. Best served with fish, white meats. Cooked pork meats. Soft goat's cheese.
