GREEN POINT - Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2003/5 75cl Bottle

The Green Point Chardonnay is an elegant varietal style with complexity from barrel fermentation, lees stirring and ageing in French oak barriques. A pale straw yellow with green tints. Complex aromas of fresh peaches, grapefruit rind and cinnamon combine with spicy vanillin oak. Stone fruit and citrus flavours develop on the palate and are enhanced by a creamy texture derived from 6 months of lees stirring. Subtle flint and savoury flavours extend the palate and provide a lingering, crisp finish. Cellaring potential is 5-8 years.
