ASARA - Cabernet Sauvignon 1998 75cl Bottle

Prior to the harvest season, the 1997/1998 growing season will be remembered for its relatively dry winter with low rainfall during September and October of 1997. The average temperature was higher than the previous year. A good rainfall was recorded for November (100mm). This dry and warm growing season fortunately led to a low disease year and an excellent red vintage. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes were healthy, and yielded wines with good tannin, colour and full-bodied structure.
