Colour: Dull gold. Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Dried fruits - dates, prunes and figs. Some malty notes, hessian and new leather. Palate: Sweet and cloying, rich fruits and treacle toffees. Reminiscent of dark chocolate liqueurs. With water: Nose: Sweet sherry notes with fermented fruit aromas. Oak and tobacco aromas. Some dry grass and hay-like notes. Palate: Sweet cream sherry flavours. Some oak and walnut notes also present. Roasted malt. Body: Thick and cloying. Finish: Sweet with some roasted maltiness. Cask Type: First Fill Sherry Butt. Style: Aromatic with a coating texture - not to be hurried.
