Colour: Yellow gold. Tasting notes, undiluted. Nose: Sweet fruit - cherries with slight phenolic edge and salty/ozone notes. Palate: Smoke & ash with a hint of fish oil With water: Nose: Salty (driftwood), slight rubberiness with floral notes also present. Palate: Smoky initially then freshly sawn pine with the saltiness gradually increasing. Body: Clean Finish: Salty with a burnt wood note. Cask Type: Refill sherry butts. Whisky Style: Very unusual aromas and flavours but together the produce a fine example of a Campbeltown Malt.
