Colour: Rich orange gold. Nose: Sweet sherry with apples, raisins and sultanas. Some camphor and menthol aromas with hints of linseed oil. Spices - cloves and cinnamon. Body: Big and complex. Palate: Smoky with a rich spicy note. Oiled / polished oak. Sherry and fruitcake flavours slowly develop. Finish: Unsurprisingly the sherry influence remains to the end. Cask type: First fill sherry hogsheads. Whisky style: A big, sherried whisky - complex and rewarding.
