Established in 1886 by Dr Angove whose active interest in chemistry led him to experience with winemaking and viticulture. Now headed by Dr Angove's great-grandson the winery is famed for its diversity - with plantings of over 19 different grape varieties - and have bucked commercial trends in favour of top-quality personality-filled wines.
