Bouchard Vieilles Vignes Grande Reserve du Domaine 2004 WHITE France

Bouchard Vieilles Vignes Grande Reserve du Domaine 2004 WHITE France
For the first time in years we've managed to secure a precious few barrels of Pascal Bouchard's highly acclaimed old vine Grande Reserve du Domaine Chablis. A 10th-generation producer Pascal is co-founder of the Union des Grands Crus an elite group who insist each member makes wines "of a quality to set them among the world's greatest whites". Pascal's contribution is this ultra fine rare Chablis. Key to the exquisite concentration and rarity is careful selection of fruit from Pascal's lowest yielding oldest vines (up to 45 years in age) and patient ageing in top quality oak. Golden with intense aromas of apple and toasted brioche. Has the magic combination of rich complex fruit and laser minerality that all Chablis strives for - and 2004 is proving to be a classic Chablis vintage. This will age beautifully.
