Bon Courage Colombard 2007 WHITE South Africa

Super-fresh Colombard from South Africa's Champion Bon Courage Estate - owned by the Bruwer family since 1927. Their pristine whites are increasingly sought-after. The beautiful Bon Courage homestead is run by Jacques Bruwer with the help of his father Andre who at the age of 65 still jumps onto the tractor to get out into the vines on an almost daily basis. When we last visited Jacques' youngest son showed more interest in the wine and farm than going to school - so it looks as though the future of the family-run winery remains safe! Ocean-fresh aromas of lemon-grass citrus and apples with very Sauvignon-like zippy flavours. Drink solo or with Thai fishcakes.
