Leitz is one of Germany's greatest winemakers - certainly "few in the Rheingau make finer wines than Leitz" ('The German Wine Guide'). One of the things that sets him apart is that he ferments his wines using only natural wild yeasts - a technique he learned from friends in Meursault. Reisling is often rated "the finest white wine grape in the world" (Jancis Robinson MW) so why not start at the top with this splendid steely heavenly-scented off-dry example.
