Crafted by talented young winemaker Scipione Giuliani who has used his experience of barrel-aged wines to give more complexity. Pale lemon in colour. Simple peachy and slightly grassy nose with a fresh clean palate hints of ripe peach and slight floral tones. Supremely quaffable at a great price. With its jagged coasts seething volcanos and stony hillsides Sicily emblemises the Mediterranean but - despite being one of Italy's most important regions in terms of quantity - its quality wines are less well known. That is now changing.
