Triunfo Sauvignon Blanc 2005 2005 WHITE Chile

From one of the smallest wine producing areas in the country - often compared to Bordeaux and Burgundy - this is magnificent 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Vina Tarapaca some of our oldest winemaking friends in Chile. We first met award-winning winemaker Sergio Correa now Tarapaca's winemaking consultant a few years ago whilst on a tour of the beautiful Tarapaca estate. Nipping behind a large vat he emerged with a wine he used exclusively to add life to his blends. So exhilarated by the quality we mounted a rescue and now you can enjoy it exclusively and unblended! Light golden in colour with grapefruit and sweet fennel aromas it's as fresh as the mountain snowmelt with a well-rounded spiced citrus palate. Perfect with quiche salmon lemon chicken and any brightly-flavoured summery dishes.
