Tenterden Chapel Reserve 2003 WHITE United Kingdom

Tenterden Chapel Reserve is a thrilling new wine from the UK's three-times Winemaker of the Year Owen Elias. And it comes from what is being hailed by experts as the 'most amazing vintage for English wines' 'exceptional' and the 'best so far' by Matthew Jukes Oz Clarke and The Independent! With its Sauvignon-like zing a steely minerality reminiscent of Chablis and plenty of pure green apple fruity one flinty fresh sip confirms this as something rather special. Oak ageing in premium French barrels adds finesse too. Pale gold in colour tongue-tinglingly dry and with a nose of slightly nutty apples. Delicious citrus zing lingering finish and creamy oak for added complexity. This wine will blow your socks off! Drink to 2008.
