Our relationship with Andre Roux goes back over 30 years. A veteran over 70 vintages he is a living legend in his native Rhone Valley. Andre's lavish homage to white Chateauneuf-du-Pape uses Roussanne Grenache Blanc and Viognier to make a delicious cocktail of complex flavours. White wines from this area are a rarity in comparison to the regions' famous reds - the excellent 2005 vintage makes this is a chance not to be missed. Rounded and buttery with ripe peach pear and citrus flavour. Mouth-filling satisfying and just a little bit different. It's extremely food friendly and perfect with rich seafood roast pork or creamy mild curries.
