R. Renaudin Premier Cru 2002 WHITE France

R. Renaudin Premier Cru 2002 WHITE France
A long-time friend of ours - Therese Renaudin continues to seriously challenge the big names. Champagne expert Tom Stevenson rates her Brut Reserve Non-Vintage above the Grandes Marques such as Bollinger Moet et Chandon Veuve Cliquot to name but three. Were it not for the fact her wines are rare there may be a few red faces! Renaudin's vineyard plots compete with the finest Champagne has to offer producing wines of exceptional depth and finesse. Unlike the majority of the big houses she doesn't buy in any of her grapes thereby her exacting standards are never compromised. Light gold with honeyed apple fresh brioche and biscuit aromas with the depth and elegance that defines great Premier Cru vintage Champagne. The persistent tiny bubbles carry the flavours to a long luxurious finish. Highly recommended!
