Marthinus Chenin Blanc 2006 WHITE South Africa

Marthinus Chenin Blanc 2006 WHITE South Africa
With South African wines going from strength to strength - it's no wonder this old-vine Chenin from Marthinus Estate remains one of your favourite whites. The great grape of the Loire Chenin's appeal is found in its wonderful depth of fruit - rich and concentrated but also crisply refreshing with zesty citrus aromas and generous tropical fruit. Chenin like Colombard is another Old World grape that has shot to the top of the form book in the New World. Firm and racy with lemon lime lychee and honey on the nose. Delicious with chicken pasta or salads.
