La Renardiere Chardonnay 2006 WHITE France

Zesty and refreshing Chardonnay named after one of the parcels of vines used to craft this elegant white ..."La Renardiere". (The land in turn takes its name from the many foxes that live wild in the area.) Founded in 1952 and situated half way between Nantes and Angers the cellar "Vignerons de la Noelle" is extremely well equipped. Young winemaker Christophe Brevelet who has worked in both the Loire Valley and California takes full advantage of the winery's facilities and consistently crafts top quality medal-winning wines. Delicate pale yellow in the glass with exotic and ripe yellow fruit aromas. Gorgeous peach flavours generous and well-balanced.
