Low yields intense sunshine and cool breezes make for ripe pristine grapes. And every vintage local expert Alain Gayda selectsthe cream of the crop for his Sieur d'Arques cellar (highly rated by wine guru Robert Parker and next door to the Rothschilds' Baron d'Arques). Seductively aromatic with white peach pear and green apple. Old-vine fruit makes for great depth of lime lemon and melon flavours complemented by subtle minerally notes.
