VdP Cotes de Gascogne is one of the big success stories of French country wines. Like Charente to the north (where Cognac is famous) from where we source our Domaine de Liboreau wines Gascony is a region better known for its Armagnac. Coupled with the decline in the brandy market massive steps have been taken to boost white wine quality production bringing out the vibrant floral characteristics of the Colombard grape in fresh innovative and very moreish wines.
