Il Principe Pinot Grigio 2006 WHITE Italy

Il Principe has been a bestseller for nearly a decade thanks to its impressive depth and palate-cleansing freshness ... and here's another belting release from white wine master Giorgio Flessati. Back in 1999 whilst winding our way through the mountains en route to Venice (a rather terrifying drive) we stopped in Volano for a taste in the cellars of award-winning winemaker - Flessati. We parted good friends with an arrangment to take as much of his fantastic white as he would let us have! Crisp aromas of apricot and citrus spring from the glass. A mouthwateringly fresh almost Sancerre-like 'zing'. Enjoy it now at its fresh tongue-tingling peak. Perfect as an aperitif and has the weight to partner creamy chicken or fish dishes.
