Argentina is arguably blessed with the New World's most diverse line-up of grapes (Tim Atkin The Observer). Made along very organic lines this mouthwateringly crisp white marries gently spicy Torrontes (Argentina's speciality white) with racy Sauvignon. The area is doubly blessed thanks to a climate ideal for vines. Warm days and cool dry nights in the high-altitude vineyards ensure a tremendously long ripening period. Snowmelt from the hills provides the purest irrigation in near desert-like conditions. Leap-from-the-glass aromas of wild flowers and orchard fruits leading to lingering grapefruit pineapple and citrus flavours. A lively aperitif that also goes very well with green salads and light fish dishes.
