With just 25 growers Quincy - a appellation older than Sancerre - would be dwarfed by many single vineyards. Lauded in Guide Hachette every year since it was founded the Rassat family's domaine is the jewel in Quincy's crown. Like many Loire producers the Rassat's are dedicated to careful tending of their vines and minimal use of chemicals - helping to maintain Winemaker Virginie has the Loire in her blood and she uses her skills developed in both Quincy and Alsace to create a superbly crisp aromatic Sauvignon with gentle floral notes.
