Culley's Sauvignon Blanc 2006 WHITE New Zealand

Culley's Sauvignon Blanc 2006 WHITE New Zealand
Inspired winemaking from an historic gold-winning New Zealand winery and outstanding value - a gem like this usually costs #10 or more - make this a must-stock Sauvignon for any occasion. Our old pal Kiwi supremo Neill Culley (former chief winemaker for Babich) has taken fruit from classic Marlborough - bringing crisp aromatic elegance - and Hawke's Bay whose extra sunshine adds a delicious tropical note. Established for over 100 years the tiny Pleasant Valley Winery has an excellent reputation. That's because the founder's grandson Stephen Yelas refuses to expand - putting quality before quantity. So while this is both a first class aperitif as well as a superb match for fish it's strictly in limited supply.
