Casas del Bosque Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2006 WHITE Chile

Casas del Bosque Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2006 WHITE Chile
In a very short space of time the Casas del Bosque winery has earned a reputation for excellence winning among many awards the Trophy for Best Wine of The Show at the annual Wines of Chile Awards 2007. The estate was founded in 1993 by Juan Cuneo Solari the son of an Italian immigrant who had always dreamt of owning a winery. He chose Casablanca which has since become the country's leading cool climate wine region. Like California's Napa Valley morning coastal fogs cap day time temperatures and lead to highly aromatic wines. Pale gold with herbaceous floral and fruit aromas. Lemon mandarin and kiwi characters come through in an elegant fresh and well-balanced wine. Serve on its own or with warm goats cheese salad pan-fried scallops or grilled prawns.
