Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett 1999 WHITE Germany

Aged German Riesling is one of the world's classic wines and quite remarkable value compared to say white Burgundy of equivalent quality. From a famous Mosel vineyard and a great vintage this wine is one of the most delicious introductions to the genre you could ask for. Pale gold with ripe citrus aromas and faint hint of petrol- the classic scent of mature Riesling. Still beautifully fresh and vibrant and perfectly balanced. Just a hint of sweetness. Serve chilled with mildly spicy stir-fries or pan-fried scallops.
