Berton Hoare Lane Chenin Blanc Verdelho 2006 WHITE Australia

Bob Berton dynamic winemaker and old friend has left behind some of Australia's finest estates to branch out on his own - setting up his own boutique winery. A delighted Bob is now able to produce the wines he really wants to make - original and harmonious blends that throw out the rulebook to discover delicious new flavours. Hoare Lane is a refreshing fruity combination of the Loire's traditional grape crisp Chenin Blanc Aussie favourite Verdelho and a dash of tropical Chardonnay. Aromas of kiwi fruit with melon ripe peach and pear favours ... a fruit explosion with a hint of vanilla. Crisp green apple and citrus keep it mouthwatering and fresh. Ideal on its own or served with fish and chips. Great with friends.
