Arriero Chenin Blanc 2005 WHITE Argentina

Delicious fresh clean fruit - as The Times notes "you get more flavour and finesse for your money" in Argentina. And the Arriero winery has invested heavily to produce good value high quality examples - like this crisply refreshing Chenin Blanc. The vineyards are about 60km north of Mendoza the country's premium wine growing area. Here cold winters and hot summers allows Chenin to ripen properly. Rainfall is low but there is abundant snowmelt from the mountains. Our buyer says: "Good intensity. Fruity aromas of citrus fruits and grapefruit on the nose. Palate is mouth filling and delicate. Beautifully balanced with a nice crisp finish."
