For five generations the fiercely independent Angove family (now headed by the founder's great-grandson John) have bucked commercial trends in favour of top-quality personality-filled wines ... an approach that has won them over 400 international awards in the last five years alone! With plantings of over 19 different grape varieties the wine is famed for their rare wines. Traditionally grown in the Rhone the Grenache grape is seldom seen in Australia. Planted over 25 years ago their vines produced wonderfully rich fruit full of flavour. Golden with crisp lemony citrus and extra juicy peach flavours it's the perfect partner to grilled fish and Asian cuisine.
