Marquise 2006 ROSE France

Given the popularity of local Loire maestro Noel Bourgier's Marquise Blanc and Rouge wines we asked him to turn his attentions toward a real Club favorite - fresh elegant rose. As always Noel strived to create the best possible rose travelling the length of Loire Valley in search of the finest parcels. The result is more exuberant that even we could have hoped. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc this is a vibrant redcurrant-scented pink. "Bright fruity and aromatic with peaches redcurrants raspberries and a fragrant hint of summer lilac. Ideal with a light lunch or as an aperitif."
