I cannot remember another vintage that resulted in such a great combination of good yields and excellent quality - Winemaker Jose Ignacio Cancino Protected by the Chilean coastal range the Cachapoal valley is one of Chile's historic wine growing regions. In the vineyard snowmelt from the Andes is carefully channelled via an amazing network of ancient stone gullies. By strictly rationing the water Jose lowers the yields to create a richer wine of thrilling intensity. Brilliant vibrant pink colour an intensely aromatic nose of elderberries wild strawberry and hints of red cherries ... mouthfilling juicy flavours splash the tongue with ripe strawberries - this is intensely fresh with crisp acidity and a nice clean finish.
