La Rosee du Chateau de Pressac 2006 ROSE France

La Rosee du Chateau de Pressac 2006 ROSE France
Juicy award-winning 'Saint-Emilion rose'. Merlot rich and crafted in Saint-Emilion's famous Chateau de Pressac during 2006 a cooler year that was perfect for making fresh vibrant pink. It even surpassed the legendary 2005 vintage. Chateau de Pressac dates back to the 15th century and has a very interesting historical background. This is where the peace treaty was signed in 1453 that marked the end of the Hundred Years' War between England and France. Francois Quenin bought the chateau in 1997 and in addition to Merlot and Cabernet Franc he has also planted some Malbec - or Pressac as it's called in St Emilion. Fresh and vibrant with the scent of crushed strawberries and plum juice. Mouthwatering flavours and perfectly balanced. 'Posh' elegant rose!
