Domaine du Mont Saint Jean Pinot Noir Rose 2006 ROSE France

Domaine du Mont Saint Jean Pinot Noir Rose 2006 ROSE France
The Mediterranean island of Corsica has a long history or winemaking starting with the Phoenicians who were producing wines as early as the 6th century B.C. Although Corsica might not seem the obvious place to grow Pinot Noir cooling sea breezes help keep the grapes cool and in pristine conditions. The fantastic climate combined with the expertise of the family-owned Domaine de Mont Saint Jean allows the production of wonderfully elegant fresh-tasting rose wines from this notoriously fickle grape. "Brimming with fresh red berry flavours and a crisp clean finish this mouthwatering rose is best enjoyed chilled on its own or with light salads and cold meats."
