Chateau Luxeuil 2005 RED France

As Wine magazine note if it wasn't for the political line dividing Cotes de Castillon from Saint-Emilion "the wines would be twice or three times the price!" This impressed with its rich opulent texture - there's real depth of plum flavour from the Merlot and thanks to a healthy dash of Cabernet Franc a nice redcurrant edge too. Winemaker Daniel Millet describes the wine as a "Dark ruby colour with hints of blackcurrants and red fruits."
