Chateau Haut-Bages-Liberal 2006 RED France

Beautiful ripe blackberry ... full velvety and long. Very well done. Impressive Wine Spectator Another estate that has equalled (if not bettered!) their 2005 release Haut-Bages Liberal was tasting supreme at the April barrel tastings. Indeed when tasted blind by Jancis Robinson she thought it might be Pauillac-great Pichon Longueville! Plenty of ripe blackberry and creme de cassis fruit and a gorgeous creamy texture. Will fly at this price.
