Chateau Branas Grand Poujeaux 2005 RED France

This is a find. Wonderfully silky and refined.Long finish. Excellent (Wine Spectator) A find indeed ... and an exclusive that impressed mightily when we visited back in April. Heavy investment and the super-star consultancy of Michel Rolland have catapulted this prime-sited estate to the top of the appellation. Their use of expensive new oak adds lovely spice to the deep berry fruit flavours. Best ever Branas - sure to fly!
