Casa del Rio Verde Shiraz 2006 RED Chile

This fruit-laden new arrival is perfect for anyone who likes their reds silky smooth and extra juicy. It's a pure brambly Shiraz and is made by Adolfo Hurtado - Chile's Winemaker of the Year winner (twice!) and a man dedicated to crafting supreme wines for you. A group of our staff recently returned from Chile singing the praises of Adolfo and this outstanding Shiraz. It has Aussie-style mouthfilling richness but with a little more finesse - more like a Rhone red (where Shiraz is known as the noble Syrah grape). "Ruby red with violet hues and seductive aromas of plums and blueberries. Soft and juicy with rich savoury notes and supple tannins. Lovely on its own even better with red meats or mature cheeses."
