Housed in a beautiful 14th century building in the village of Laguardia Primicia is run by the three Madrid brothers - Rodolfo Roberto and Juan Ramon and was recently named among Rioja's Top 20 houses in Decanter magazine by John Radford the UK's leading Rioja authority. Altitude is important here too with their highest vineyards lying at over 700 ft above sea level. Sourced from some of the finest vineyards around the village of Laguardia and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels Primicia's Crianza is a creature of rare elegance and refinement. Smooth and structured with layers of cherries and spice.
