Vi?a Labarta 2006 RED Spain

Vi?a Labarta 2006 RED Spain
The Vivanco family have been crafting fabulous Rioja since 1915 ... with generations of experience behind them it's no surprise that they consistently win top awards for their wines in competitions around the world. Part of their secret is the location of the vineyards which lie in the higher parts of the Rioja Alta region. Here the grapes benefit from the slightly cooler climate and longer ripening period and the resulting wines are elegant and complex. "Rich spicy aromas of strawberry and red currants develop into silky rounded vanilla tobacco and leather flavours coming from 6 months oak ageing. Complex and lingering on the finish this is a wonderful wine to enjoy with roasted or griddled lamb."
