Vega Oliveras 2006 RED Spain

Over the last 5 years this soft rich Tempranillo has become a customer 'must-have' - with the incredible richness of flavour and such outstanding value it's easy to see why. Our old friend award-winning Ramon Roqueta oversaw every detail of this wine using modern techniques (at an historic 800-year-old winery) to get 100% of those classic sun-ripened flavours. As he explains: "When I went to look at the vines in the midday heat I found fruit so black and heavy - ready to fall off the vine ... when we picked the fruit was warm to the touch." Such deliciously ripe fruit gives the mouthfilling velvety richness that's made this such a favourite.
