Sierra Secastilla 2004 RED Spain

In Spain's terrific 2004 vintage pure Garnacha hand-picked from high-altitude 62 year-old vines was vinified by hugely accoladed winemaker Pedro Aibar matured in fine oak at Parker-rated winery Vi?as del Vero - officially the best in Spain's most dynamic 'new' region ... and the wine to date has three medals including Gold and Silver! Such credentials add up to incredible flavour intensity and a truly impressive velvety texture - and the accolades reflect this: "... fantastic fruit ... long toasty and complex" as tasters from Decanter magazine report. In fact exactly what fans like us expect from Spain's great reds. "Deep and dark with rich smoky red fruit aromas. Very satisfying (Gold medal-winning) depth of black fruit and subtle oak. Enjoy with dishes from beef Wellington to spicy chorizo - and other tapas classics."
