This fruit-packed Montepulciano is made by experienced Italian winemaker Etorre Galasso whose third generation estate is situated in the heart of the Abruzzo region. Cooling winds from the Adriatic help protect the grapes from the scorching Mediterranean sun giving a Montepulciano that is bursting with ultra-ripe cherry and spice. Left unoaked to allow all the intense fruit flavours to shine through. Red berry fruits and aromas of violet are joined by a delicious hint of spice. Soft enough to enjoy on its own or partner with pasta and pizza.
