Pere la Force Merlot 2006 RED France

From the heart of southern France's Roussillon comes this rich ripe Merlot named afer a powerful 11th century abbot who once presided over the nearby abbey. Similar to Bordeaux the area has two rivers that gently cool the area help the vines produce great concentrated flavours. Pere La Force bursts with ripe plum aromas and plenty of juicy red berry fruit flavours. This velvety southern French Merlot is soft enough to please on its own yet a great partner to roast lamb pasta with pesto and herby roasted vegetables.
