The Masi family's Fattoria di Basciano estate is a shining beacon of quality and value in the rolling hills of Tuscany. Established by Paolo Masi's grandfather and name-sake in 1900 to make wine for the family the estate now has a devoted following. Silky with fresh cherry fruit this red slips down deliciously easily on its own. Like a good Chianti it's great too with mid-weight dishes of chicken herby roasted vegetables or risotto.
