Trentino is home to a beautiful mountain-ringed region in northern Italy and also to our old friend Giorgio Flessati. Those in the know have been enjoying his whites for years but this is the first time we've ever offer his soft red berry Novello. Novello delle Vivene is a delicious Italian tradition. Meaning the first wine of the vintage it's light juicy and very rarely leaves its home region. Made with Terodelgo - a rare grape unique to Trentino - whose juicy soft red fruit and gentle tannins mean it's perfect for Novello. Giorgio lives just half a mile from his vineyard and makes daily checks come harvest time. His Novello is a special sideline only made for family and friends.
