Gold medal winner at the prestigious "Gran Seleccion 2007" competition in Castilla la Mancha (April 2007) - the second year in a row this impressive cellar has won the prize. Crafted from a selection of low-yielding old-vine parcels of strawberry flavoured Tempranillo and blackcurrant Cabernet all of which belong to members of the family. The velvety creamy mouthfeel comes from extensive wood ageing - 24 months in French and American oak.
