Marques de Toledo Crianza 2001 RED Spain

This fine Crianza is made from Spain's noble Tempranillo - best known in the wines of Rioja - but used all over the country under different names (Cencibel Tinta Fino Tinto del Pais...). In Marques de Toledo a splash of Cabernet has added depth colour and rich black fruit. To create its silky smooth and deliciously mellow character the wine was aged for six months in a mixture of French and American oak barrels and finally aged for a further two-and-a-half years in bottle before released! Medium in weight and full in flavour this satin-smooth red is a delicious glass to savour on its own anytime! It's also excellent with traditional Spanish Tapas paella and other rice dishes.
