La Bastide d'Aragon Syrah 2002 RED France

This delicious red comes from the Chateau de Pennautier just outside the walled city of Carcassone. The property is owned by the Count and Countess Nicholas de Lorgeril descendents of the Pennautier family. The Chateau was built by Bernard de Pennautier in 1620 and wines in the past were enjoyed by the French royal family! "A forward wine showing plenty of juicy damson fruit and pepper spice.
