Imperio Oak-Aged Tempranillo 2004 RED Spain

Deliciously softindulgent red from the noble grape of Rioja oak-aged for extra richness and intensity of flavour - all from the award-winning Bodegas Navarro-Lopez in ancient Castile. The grapes - 100% Tempranillo - are hand-picked from vines lying just outside the up-and-coming DO of Valdepe?as - described by The Independent as "outstanding reds - serious bargains". Cherry red with spiced raspberry aromas Imperio is soft ripe and very moreish packed with succulent berry-fruit and well-balanced oak. It's delicious with casseroles and rich spicy dishes.
