Il Tesoro Chianti 2005 RED Italy

You can't go wrong with Chianti - particularly when it's as good as this juicy gem from the historic Baroncini family. An excellent supple wine crafted from grapes picked from the beautiful vineyards in the province of Sienna and Florence. The Baroncini family started producing wine in 1489 and the estate has remained in the family passsed down through generations. Today the estate is run by Stefano and Bruna. Deep red with a cherry nose an intense but delicate palate packed with rounded cherry and hints of red bramble fruit. Medium bodied with a nice length - perfect for drinking with food ... and entertaining friends over long informal suppers!
