Domaine Roux 2006 RED France

Gevrey - full rich fleshy and exotic (Coates MW) It's the Roux's tiny plot of 40-year-old vines that give this excellent Gevrey its depth of cherry and cassis flavour yet it's still wonderfully fresh and approachable the characteristic of 2006. An 18- month slumber in finest French oak wraps the cherry-rich core in a lush and supple structure. Will be among the first to go at this price.
